According to Wamda, BY Venture Partners, a Dubai‑headquartered venture capital firm, closed its third fund at $60 million, raising its total assets under management to more than $200 million. The fund is anchored by the Dubai Future District Fund and includes investors such as MultiLane, Transmed Capital and the Idriss Family Office.

The firm said the new fund will primarily invest up to $1 million in AI‑native companies at the pre‑seed to Series A stage, focusing on solutions that re‑imagine enterprise workflows. To date it has made 15 investments out of a planned 40‑company portfolio, including PQ Shield, Cosyne, Isometric, Huspy and Invisible.

Why it matters to your business

The fund signals strong regional capital for AI startups that can improve enterprise efficiency. Operators can expect more local funding options for AI projects that automate back‑office tasks or enhance data‑driven decision‑making.

BY Venture Partners also manages the Lebanese Angel Investor Network, pledging to reinvest half of its carried interest into Lebanon’s startup ecosystem. This creates a pipeline for diaspora capital, potentially expanding regional talent and deal flow.

What to do on Monday

  1. Review your AI roadmap and identify any workflow‑automation projects that could qualify for early‑stage funding.
  2. Engage with BY Venture Partners or the Dubai Future District Fund to explore pitch opportunities before the fund’s pipeline fills.
  3. If operating in Lebanon, consider connecting with the Lebanese Angel Investor Network for potential seed capital.
