Privacy policy
Last updated 6 November 2026. Infercline is operated by MAMMARELLA (PTY) LTD, a company registered in South Africa, the company behind Panorithm ("we").
What we collect
- If you only read: nothing that identifies you. Cloudflare tells us which country a visit comes from so we can show the right edition. We store that choice in a small cookie only if you pick an edition yourself.
- If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture from Google, the country you signed in from, your chosen edition and the stories you save.
- If you book an ad: your company name, contact name, billing email, the ad itself and its view and click counts.
Why
To run your account, show your edition, keep your saved stories, review and run ads, send invoices for ads, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising profiles. Ad view and click counts are totals, not tied to readers.
Cookies
We use one sign-in cookie, one short-lived cookie during Google sign-in, and one edition cookie if you choose an edition. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Who processes it
Cloudflare hosts the site and database. Google handles sign-in. Both may process data outside your country under their own safeguards.
How long
Account data until you ask us to delete it. Ad records for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
Under POPIA (South Africa), UK GDPR, the Nigeria Data Protection Act, the Australian Privacy Act and US state laws, you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email privacy@infercline.com and we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your country's data protection regulator.
